Dear Client,

 

The last two years have been very difficult for all of us, especially for the commercial aviation sector, extremely penalized due to the pandemic. All TAP Air Portugal employees have worked resiliently and consistently to rebuild the company and your trust in us.

This weekend was not easy for TAP due to various constraints. Only with the commitment and effort of the teams, both on land and in the air, was it possible to provide the best possible service to our passengers, take them to their destination and normalize the operation. Our thanks to everyone.

There is nothing we all want more than flying Portugal out to the world and bringing the world to Portugal this summer. This is the reason we exist, and we have all been working in recent months to achieve this goal.

Although restrictions on passenger mobility have mostly been lifted, air transport, as well as its infrastructure and complementary services, we all face a serious limitation of resources at a global level, at a time when flight operations have passed from virtually zero to about 90% of pre-pandemic levels.

At this moment, we recognise that we are not offering the exceptional service that we planned and that we intend for you to experience, given the crisis that air transport is going through, which according to the most recent forecasts is not expected to improve in the coming weeks, and as a result of the steady increase in leisure and business travel. For all this, we sincerely apologise to you.

We guarantee that TAP and all our teams are committed to minimizing any and all inconveniences that may arise during your journey with us, hoping to have a more robust, functional, and articulated air transport system in the summer of 2023.

On behalf of all our employees, I hope you feel very welcome on board after this long break in air travel, which we have been looking forward to.

We thank you, as always, for your loyalty and we hope to count on your understanding if the trip of your employees has not yet met your expectations. 

We are doing our best to provide them with the quality, punctuality, and confidence they can expect and surely deserve from TAP Air Portugal as soon as possible.
