What you shouldn’t do
Do not talk to someone using the informal "tu" if the expected is the formal "vous". Depending on the context and how well you know someone, always use "vous" if you’re not sure, as a sign of respect. Use "tu" with friends or family.
What to wear
Fashion and looks are considered very important and can help to make a great first impression. Go for a formal and neat style, with good taste. Accessories also count—as well as shoes!
