Mobile Check-In
From now on, TAP allows you to check in through your mobile phone via the TAP Mobile Portal, iPhone / iPod Touch and iPad!
Check in in comfort over the internet or through the Apple apps we have developed for you!
Mobile Check-In Availability
- You can use Mobile Check-In for departures from the following cities to the whole TAP network: Lisbon, Porto, Funchal, Porto Santo, Terceira, Ponta Delgada, Pico and Horta.
- From 24 hours to an hour and a half before flight departure.
- For passengers with an electronic ticket and confirmed booking on flights operated by TAP.
- For passengers travelling with or without luggage. If you are travelling with luggage, check here which desks to use for luggage drop-off at the airports and what the time limits are.
- Boarding closes 15 minutes before the plane’s departure time and if you are travelling with luggage you have to arrive before the times given in the Drop Off table.
Exceptions for this service
- Service not available for those with resident and student tickets.
- If you have been asked to confirm your credit card details in person at a TAP desk or at check-in, Mobile Check-in will not be possible.
- Service not available to passengers who have special requests or needs on their booking, such as: unaccompanied minor service, wheelchair or other special assistance requests, pet transport in the cabin or in the hold.
- Service not available for destinations with APIS (Advanced Passenger Information System - a system adopted by several countries, in which airlines gather specific information on each passenger).
