TAP provides transfers between the airports of Viracopos and Congonhas, to the city centre.
08.Jun.2011
Almost one year since the start of flights to Viracopos Airport in Campinas, in the State of São Paulo, and to make the transfer easier between Viracopos and São Paulo city centre, TAP is continuing to operate its free transfer coach service for its passengers from and to Congonhas, the city's domestic airport.
You must book your seat when you book your TAP intercontinental flight. The coach is identified in the TAP colours and passengers must arrive 30 minutes before departure and go to the TAP desks as follows:
- In Viracopos after landing passengers must go to the outside area of the terminal where the TAP coach will be located.
- For the return flight to Lisbon, the coach will be waiting in the disembarkation areas (Domestic Arrivals), at the airport in Congonhas and the passenger must provide proof of travel from Viracopos to Lisbon.
Viracopos Airport – Campinas has recorded the largest growth rate of any airport in Brazil, despite the fact that it has not received international passenger flights until now.
With the opening of this TAP route, Lisbon will become the first international destination to be served from this airport, giving passengers the option of a direct link to Europe.
The TAP flights will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on A330 aircraft, departing from Lisbon at 15.10 and arriving at Campinas at 21.10. The return leg will leave from Viracopos at 22.40 and arrive back in Lisbon at 12.45 the following day.
The three flights per week to São Paulo's Viracopos airport take TAP's weekly flights to São Paulo up to 17.
